Three limits that are structural, not promised.

These aren't policies we could quietly change. They follow from how the system is built and from what MetaTrader 5 allows an Expert Advisor to do at all.

Withdrawal access

BrainLink cannot withdraw funds.

Expert Advisors in MT5 have no access to withdrawal functions - this is an architectural constraint of the platform, not a policy we can change. No component of Braintech can move money out of your account.

Credential security

Your MT5 credentials never leave your machine.

Broker credentials are stored exclusively in BrainBridge's local config. They are never transmitted over the network to Braintech servers, and no member of our team can read them.

Capital custody

Your capital stays in your broker account.

Braintech never holds, touches, or transits client funds. Capital lives in the account you opened with your broker and is never routed through Braintech infrastructure.

Confirm the EA's permissions

Open your terminal and read exactly what the Expert Advisor is allowed to do. Withdrawal functions are not on the list.

Can BrainLink withdraw my funds?
No - impossible by MT5 architecture. Expert Advisors have no access to withdrawal functions at the platform level.
Who can see my credentials?
Nobody at Braintech. Credentials are never transmitted over the network; they exist only on your machine.
Where is my data stored?
Credentials and strategy config: local only. Account metrics and performance reports: Braintech servers.
How do I delete my data?
Account deletion is available directly in the app, or by emailing us. All data is removed on request.
Do I have to use a specific broker?
You keep your own broker account. Free access runs with partner brokers; broader broker support is on the roadmap.
What happens if I stop the system?
Disable the EA and nothing else runs. Your account and any open positions remain entirely under your control.
Can Braintech trade my account without me?
No. Strategies only run while you have them active on your own terminal, with the allocation you set.
How can I verify these claims?
Follow the three checks above - they can all be done from your own machine in a few minutes.
